Sydney offers many record stores, most situated between Circular Quay and Chinatown.
Red Eye Records offer a large selection of genres including a good offering of Jazz, some true gem's can be found and they offer a selection of new vinyl too.
If you're a heavy metal/rock music fan we would suggest Utopia Records, located on Kent St. These guys have everything a Rock fan would ever want, from T shirts to Cd's and Vinyl. The guys at Utopia are passionate and extremely helpful.
The pick of the bunch goes to the guys at 'The Record Store' on Goulburn St. These guys are purchasing and selling only quality records in VG+ standard. They specialise in Electronic music but offer a range of other genres too. Prices in Sydney are reasonable, generally cheaper than Melbourne due to the lack of competition.
